The 1980s were a decade that gave us a lot of memorable moments and quite a few not so memorable....
Spence first got on our radar a little over a year ago when we realized they were personally out and about pounding the pavement and getting people excited about their music and brand. The band members were actively seeking out people in the biz and inviting them to listen and to come to a show. Now, that doesn't make them extraordinary. No. Many bands do that. What Spence had was charisma and charm…and persistence. They were good at making sure that people that were remotely close to their venues were aware of their tour and personally invited them to come out. They reminded us over and over again where they were, and made sure that we were there to hang with them and have a drink. Dedication and persistence.
With the recent exoneration of front man Randy Blythe from all charges in the Czech Republic, LAMB OF GOD announces today a tour of secondary markets May 16th through June 20th. The tour continues the support of the album Resolution and hits 30 markets not yet visited on the current album cycle.

Maximum-blues-infused, hard rock band RIVAL SONS just wrapped up their headlining tour with shows in Canada, Europe and the U.K. and now the group have confirmed a string of dates here in the U.S. beginning May 29 in Grand Rapids, MI(itinerary below). The acclaimed Long Beach, CA band--Jay Buchanan (vocals), Scott Holiday (guitar), Robin Everhart(bass) and Michael Miley (drums)--is touring in support of their third album HEAD DOWN, which was released March 19 on Century Media Records and features the single “Keep On Swinging.” The song hit #1 on the Active Rock Radio Charts in Canada and remained at the top for six straight weeks.
On July 9, Seattle based rock band GIRL ON FIRE will be releasing their debut album "Not Broken" on Century Media Records. The band will also be hitting the road next week on the JVC Mobile Entertainment Plugged In Tour: Road To Sturgis with labelmates Angels Fall (see tour dates below).
