Ohio is hosting America’s premier rock festival, Rock on the Range, for the eighth year.
This will be the second consecutive sold-out year while last year the festival was host to more than 103,000 fans.
Starting tomorrow at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio and continuing until Sunday May 18, the festival will feature 60 of the world’s hardest rocking bands presented by Danny Wimmer Presents, AEG Live, RockHouse and Crew Stadium!
Guns N’ Roses take the stage tomorrow, Avenged Sevenfold and Slayer follow on Saturday, with Kid Rock and Five Finger Death Punch wrapping it up Sunday. Other rocking bands will include Seether, Black Label Society, Mastodon, and many others.
As if that all that weren’t enough, the festival features the return of the ROTR Comedy Tent with comedians such as Jim Breuer, Jim Florentine, and Don Jamieson. The full bill for the festival can be found here.
The ROTR 2014 weekend will kick off with the debut of the Monster Energy Roast On The Range with Corey Taylor. Set for tonight at LC Pavilion in Columbus, OH, it will honor and lampoon Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor.
Nearly a dozen musicians and comedians, led by Roastmaster Sebastian Bach, will participate in the third annual event, and first to be held in the heartland, hosted by Revolver and Guitar World’s Rock & Roll Roast Comedy Series. A separate ticket is required for the event.
