The great thing about metal (other than, you know, the music) are the names. Because there’s nothing like having a shitty Thursday afternoon with more hair tore out than remaining on your head – and then popping on a band called Butcher Babies when you feel like doing exactly that.Â

If you like your baby butchering front and center, they’re hitting Columbus, OH this Friday for the annual ROCK ON THE RANGE Festival, with an impressive line-up featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Guns’N’Roses, Slayer and Kid Rock. In a combination of astral and temporal awesomeness, they will take the stage at 4:20 on the delicious-sounding Jägermeister stage.Â
Butcher Babies has been touring consistently since the July 2013 release of their debut album “Goliath.” In another example of exquisite naming, they are currently rounding out on REVOLVER MAGAZINE’S GOLDEN GODS Tour, also featuring Black Label Society, Down, and Devil You Know.
