We’ve got the beards, they’ve got Anatidaephobia (well, one of them has), and they also have the advice on how to defeat a Dimensional Time Portal…
Earlier last month you released Revenge of the Vengeance. How do you feel this album sounds compared to your previous albums the most?
I feel that this album is the greatest sounding album ever released. Past, present, AND future. It’s all downhill from here.
Whose beard does the band obey?
Paul Bunyan and/or Al Borland. One guy is a giant that has a blue ox and the other fixes everything. We are all slaves to their beards.
On the album, you’ve done a cover of Kenny Loggins “Danger Zone”. What made you decide to cover that track for the album?
We are on a never ending quest to fix all non-heavy music. We decided to start with Danger Zone, Highway to the. Seriously Kenny, what’s with that synth bass?
The album was funded by Pledgemusic, as a lot of artists have recently been doing. What does it feel like having an album funded by fans?
Actually, the album was funded via the crowdfunding platform known as Indiegogo, AND the funds were used to create a recording studio for Psychostick to crank out tons upon musical tons of albums. And you know what? It feels amazing. To have the amount of awesome, loyal fans who don’t mind throwing their hard-earned cash at us to make stupid music doesn’t even come close to being compared to any number of orgasms.
Could having fan funded albums be the way forward for future bands?
It could. Record labels are abandoning many of the traditional band funding methods, thus the internet swoops in to save the day. Bands have to be accountable and on top of their game to get their stuff funded, PLUS they get the creative freedom that they need. Art shouldn’t have boundaries.
In the album, you have skits made by fans who pledged. Which one would you say is your favourite skit?
I’d have to say that “Dimensional Time Portal” has a magic to it that can’t be contained or quantified in any Harry Potter film.
You’ve just started your tour which is the first part of your CD release tour, where are you planning on going for part 2? Any plans on coming to the UK?
We’ll probably head over to the western part of the U.S. and infect some cities with our awful comedic guitar chugs. As far as the UK, we’re working on it, but it’s been a challenge. Which band member suffers from Anatidaephobia?
Alex. I think he has a bird phobia in general, but those menacing ducks and their deceptive waddle holds a special place in his rage-filled heart.

What advice can you give to people if they ever experience a Dimensional Time Portal, and what would they have to do to close it?
I would definitely start with a gathering of awesome metal and hardcore bands to destroy the rift with HEAVY and MUSICAL SCIENCE! If that doesn’t work, I’ll be the first to welcome our interdimensional overlords with cookies and tacos.
