On January 31st, Phil Anselmo (formerly of Pantera) brought his Superjoint ritual to Birmingham, Alabama.
Accompanying the band on tour were scary rockers, Child Bite and heavy metal heroes, Battlecross.
Both bands were a good fit, leading up to the wildness of Superjoint that was about to unfold.
Mr. Anselmo walked on stage wearing a hoodie. Then, he dramatically pulled it off his body before spitting a bottle of water into the air, drenching the whole front row of people pushing their way forward.
The energy of that moment carried through the entire set, which spanned their entire catalogue.
Everyone in attendance that night will definitely remember this show because Phil and the guys were on point and did not miss a beat.
