Two of the modern horror masters are joining forces to bring us what could be one of the biggest horror projects in a while. James Wan who of course brought us Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring, etc. and Alexandre Aja – the man behind High Tension, The Hill Have Eyes and Piranha 3D have teamed up for something titled Smart House.
Here’s what we know:
The story is based on an original concept from James Wan and will tell the following tale:
“Set in a world of smart phones and smart cars, and a family in the witness protection program placed in the custody of a state of the art, autonomous ‘smart house.’ When a group of assassins locates the family, the smart house goes into a lethal defense mode.”
So – James Wan wrote it and Alexandre Aja has signed on as director. Personally – we are kind of excited to see what Aja can do with this one. We don’t have a start date or any other info at the moment but – watch for this one to ratchet up quick.
