A double dose of Swedish metal was administered to an eager crowd at Pop’s Nightclub in Sauget, IL on May 16, 2013, as the godfathers of progressive death metal, Opeth, and their fellow countrymen in Katatonia, delivered a flawless performance. Rock Revolt® Magazine photographer Thomas Woroniak was in the pit to capture all of the headbanging action!
Originally from Rockford, IL, this veteran concert photographer has earned his stripes, shooting thousands of shows through the years. He’s been featured in many regional magazines and newspapers in and around Kansas City, MO, where he now resides. When he’s not at a show, Thomas is a web developer, motion graphics designer and 3D animator at some “other job” somewhere. He won’t tell us in fear that we’ll prank call him. Thomas has jumped in with both feet at RockRevolt, helping with editing of photos and teaming up with writing partner in crime, Bradford, to cover shows far and wide for RockRevoltMagazine.
