I am Max and I play guitar, sing and write songs like a machine [Laughs]
I am Bronxen and I play bass. I am the funniest bass player in Europe!
I am Matte and I play drums. Hard.
How did the band get started?
Max: We live in Stockholm, Sweden and we like the same kind of music, so we decided to start the band. The band is in the center of our lives.
Who are your influences and how do they play a role in your sound?
Bronxen: Our influences is important for us. We know what we want and have a clear idea of what we like and how we want to sound. All this comes from our old heroes who we listen to .
What has been your most meaningful experience being in this band so far?
Matte: Being on tour is a meaningful experience. We eat, cry, shit, and play together on tour. We do everything together. Everything.! That’s an experience!
Favorite memory from a show you’ve played or a place you’ve travelled?
Bronxen: Oh, we have many memories from our tours, but one is when I woke up in the middle of the tour bus almost naked and alone. [Laughs]
What do you hope to accomplish with your music?
Max: We want to tour and spread our music. That’s why we write music in the name of Punk N Roll: to pass on the Rock N Roll legacy to people and the world.
Something about you that no one knows?
Matte: I am going to marry Max’s sister this year!
Max: Yes it’s true!
What is next for the band?
Max: More touring. Right now we are out with Backyard Babies in Europe and then we are playing festivals in the summer!
Anything else you want to add?
Matte: We have just released our new album, “This Means War”. A good punk Rock N Roll album with nine songs. Listen if you have time!
