Goo Goo Dolls will be performing their single “Rebel Beat” on Good Morning America June 11, 2013 to celebrate the release of their new album Magnetic on the same day.

Other release-week events for the multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band include a signing at Barnes & Noble in midtown Manhattan on the 11th (http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/event/80431) and a performance on ABC’s Live with Kelly & Michael June 12th.

Fans can get an early listen to Magnetic the week before release via a partnership with iHeartRadio and Clear Channel. Starting June 4th, tune in to the iHeartRadio app, www.iheartradio.com or any Clear Channel Hot AC/AC/AAA/ radio website to hear the album’s official premiere. Goo Goo Dolls can also be found on VH1: the video for “Rebel Beat” is currently #11 and climbing on the Top 20 Countdown.

Another track off the album, “Bulletproof Angel” premiered yesterday via Live Nation:

To support Magnetic, Goo Goo Dolls are hitting the road with Matchbox 20 this summer. The nationwide co-headlining run will kick off June 25th at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH and run through August. Full tour dates are below.

Goo Goo Dolls have sold over 10 million albums worldwide, with 14 Top 10 Radio hits, more than any other artist in the history of the Hot AC format. They are the only artist to have three songs on Billboard’s “Top 100 Songs from 1992-2012″ including the Number One slot, for “Iris.” John Rzeznik has been honored with the Songwriters Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award and they were recently inducted into Guitar Center’s Historic Hollywood Rock Walk.

About Johnny Price (563 Articles)
Johnny P’s picture should truly be in the dictionary next to “music lover” as he seriously personifies the very essence of the word. He lives, sleeps, eats & breathes music. When he’s not at shows conducting interviews, he’s writing out his experiences for all of you in his wonderful, down-home, “don’t need a damn thesaurus to read it” storytelling way. He is our Knight in Metal/Rock Armour, our tireless attendee of every show, and most importantly – a champion and friend to musicians at every level (he treats everyone like a rockstar!). If you ever get the chance to meet him, you’ll know by his big smile and humble southern boy charm that he is about as real and nice as they come.

WHAT SAY YOU?
