It is good to see a band spend time and effort on a B-side collection, unlike most bands or record labels that push out these collections to either generate money for the label or buzz for an upcoming record, Kylesa have spent over a year going through their back catalogue to produce a wondrous accumulation of material that will satisfy die hard fans and new fans alike.
Let’s get one thing sorted from the get go, this is not rock'n'roll, but GODDAM it is some cool shit! There is so much to take in and grab hold of here that fans of all styles, especially progressive rock/metal, will find something to latch onto and obsess over.

This album has EVERYTHING that you could ever want in a metal album: a great intro, a full and varied body, and a capstone that sums up the album as a whole. It's not exhaustingly long or overwrought with songs that were forced into it to meet a quota to make it an album vs. an EP, and it is interesting enough to keep listening to, allowing you to discover new features to savor as you plow through the tracks again and again.
