QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE NEW ALBUM DETAILS - GROHL ON DRUMS!

QOTSAQueens of the Stone Age will be releasing their new album …Like Clockwork this June, according to their website. In addition, when you visit the band’s website a portion of one of the album’s songs plays; refresh the page and you’ll hear another.

Dave Grohl will be playing drums — just as he did on the band’s great release Songs for the Deaf from 2002 — and theQOTSA.board album will also feature a variety of other guests including Elton John, Scissor Scissors frontman - Jake Shears, Trent Reznor, and the band’s orginal bassist Nick Oliveri.

Last December the band also released this most awesome rockumentary called “Secrets of The Sound” that is hysterical! It features comedian Matt Berry from “The IT Crowd” and focuses on the making of the new album (kind of):

Here’s Dave’s first live performance with the Sound City Players during the Sundance Film Festival in January 2013 performing QOTSA “Hanging Tree” - friggin’ awesome!
