REVEREND HORTON HEAT
Pomade, Pompadours, and Poodle Skirts…oh my! Knuckleheads Saloon was the place to be for the annual Rock and Roll Prom, and the Reverend Horton Heat played to a packed house at one of Kansas City’s coolest outdoor venues. The evening’s event brought out the Greaser in everyone, with attendees showing up in full retro attire. The Danish-American psychobilly band, Nekromantix, opened up for the Rev with a lengthy set of foot-stomping tunes. And when the Reverend Horton Heat took to the stage with his hollow-body in hand, the place went wild and remained hoppin’ for the duration of the set. There were even a couple of short-lived fist fights, because what’s a 50’s prom without a rumble or two?! RockRevolt photographer, Thomas Woroniak, was there to capture the Rev in action!
