May 30, 2015 Kansas City’s 98.9 The Rock Radio station sponsors Liberty Memorial Park, Kansas City, MO – Home to the National WWI Museum and Memorial 23rd Year Largest one day music festival in America – 55,000!
15 bands on 2 main stages, 5 bands on the Jagermeister Stage. Pre-sale tickets were only $27.50 3 stages this year (previously had 2). Added the Jagermeister Stage this year. They held a Battle of The Bands online. Unsigned bands submitted videos and people voted on what band trhey wanted. 5 bands won a spot to play the stage. The Pretty Reckless canceled as their drummer was in the hospital. We Are Harlot was moved to the Monster stage to fill the spot The Pretty Reckless had on that stage. Lola Black was scheduled to play on the Jagermeister stage but was moved to the Worth Harley Stage to open Rockfest at noon. Sidewise is a KC local band. Tech N9ne is also a KC Local!
So – ALL of that happened, but where were we? First up, we were at the Monster Energy Stage capturing ALL THIS MAGIC!
