Slipknot and Lamb of God
“Summer’s Last Stand Tour”
Slipknot and Lamb Of God, teamed up for a summer tour dubbed the “Summer’s Last Stand Tour,” and on Wednesday, August 19th they trekked to Colorado’s own legendary Red Rocks. This hands-down was one of the heaviest tours that has hit this breathtaking natural amphitheater.
The spectacular sight of Red Rocks is reason enough to hike up the mountain but when you throw in Slipknot’s twisted carnival theatrical stage show, an ass ton of pyrotechnics, Corey’s intense screams, along with the presence of Virginia-based metal band Lamb of God you get a level of brutality that energizes 9,500 raging fans up to the mountain top.
All the way from Kansas City and in the pit of this legendary venue was RockRevolt™ Magazine photographer, John Thornbrugh, to capture these breathtaking photos!
