Craving Lucy is a true American bred rock-n-roll band in every sense of the word. They are far more unique and interesting than your average run-of-the-mill cookie-cutter band cluttering the airways these days. The Boston based quintet, consisting of Steve Archambault (vocals), Nate Comp (guitar), Rick Caikauskas (guitar), Keith Lewis (bass) and Simon Adamsson (drums), proved once again with their newest EP effort entitled Resolution (10/26/2012) that they intend to raise the expectation and imaginations of rock fans nationwide. Resolution should be able to line-up the band alongside the current rock heavyweights in the regular rotation on XM Octane, Music Choice and other rock radio outlets nationwide.

What Affiance will also bring back in the process is (and most importantly) what true rock and metal fans long for: melodic metal with soaring vocals and driving guitars.

Are you bored of metal bands consistently droning out the same note in a blasphemous attempt at getting the “Heavy” and “Brutal” sound, trying to reflect the good old days of rock? The London based Ace Mafia is our Indie Band of the Week for a reason – they provide the raw heaviness that we wanted whilst sticking to their classical roots. We got to interview their bassist – Geos – and you can see how the interview went here…
There are many words that are used to describe emotion but when combined, three words describe it better than any other. Those three words would be Another Lost Year.
