Let me start out with just stating it’s been quite some time since an album such as this has kicked me in the balls and just jammed from start to ending. GORE METAL was one such album. EXHUMED are without a doubt no strangers to the scene. Their return to the scene is cemented with the release of Gore Metal: A Necrospective 1998 – 2015.  Aggression still oozing from their beings, they maintain the visceral carnage of the original recordings while adding more heart in their offering to the GODS. The balls outside of the pants approach comes from years of touring and a vastly improved sound recording quality. These cats are known to rip shit up and tear down the boundaries set forth from their lesser counterparts. I remeber getting out on the asphalt and shredding shit up on the deck. EXHUMED was one of those bands hardcore skaters enjoyed as they thrashed up their own DOGBOWL.

I used to jam to such bands as EXHUMED as I was messin hoes up in CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE. It always helped me to get in the beast zone, if you will. The fast blast beats and the hardocre double bass pumps always made me run in the MANIAC mode. Those unfamiliar with the game would not understand, those familiar will. To be able to run around the horrendous maps like a beast and stab a mothertrucker were supreme. Such a band as EXHUMED were sublime. To have such tunage as you created the epitome of carnage and messing a mofo up was top of the game, and I truly thank them for creating such tunes to allow me to do so.

“Enucleation” is VERY reminiscent of a cross between the hardcore blastbeats of CATTLE DECAPITATION and the values and severity of Mnemic’s Death Box. The song just effing jams and will make you piss blood out your eyes. It rules supreme! “Vagitarian II” and “Death Mask” sit right up there as the best tracks on the album…All in all GORE METAL is one damn fine experience that I suggest everyone endure.
