On Tuesday May 16, The Cult played at House of Blues Dallas. The venue is located at 2200 N Lamar St in Dallas, TX, just off I-35E. The area in front of the stage is general admission, and back by the bar area VIP seating, there is a balcony upstairs with reserve seating this area for those that are wanting to sit relax and enjoy the show. There is virtually not a bad seat in the house in the balcony area. There are TV monitors staged throughout the lower area so if you can’t see the stage directly you can still see the show.
The Cult took stage around 9:30 PM and opened the show with “Wild Flower” from their 1987 album, Electric. It was an energetic crowd and packed down in the GA area. The band played with great energy, and the sound was perfect for the venue and was not too overpowering. Their set list contained songs from almost all of their albums. They plan to finish up their US tour for 2017 at Rocklahoma on May 27th.
If you can, get yourself out there! This set is definitely a must-see for fans of the band of all stripes.
