Music for Relief, Linkin Park’s nonprofit organization, is inviting unsigned artists to submit their original songs for a chance to have it heard by industry professionals including Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, artist/producer RAC, Producer Rob Cavallo, Composer Joe Trapanese, Nikki Walsh and Jake Voulgarides of Universal Pictures and Kevin Korn, an agent at the Gorfaine Schwartz Agency.
Winners will be featured on an album released this fall by Warner Bros. Records benefitting Music for Relief’s disaster relief fund.

The submission period ends on September 22, then the public will have a chance to vote for their favorite songs from September 23 to October 15.
Entries with the most votes will win prizes donated by HARMAN International, Warner Bros. Records, and Sunset Marquis Hotel.
One lucky band/artist will be flown to Los Angeles to record at Henson Studios.
Music for Relief is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported by musicians, music industry professionals, and fans to aid survivors of natural disasters and initiate programs to reduce global warming. Since its inception in 2005, Music for Relief has raised funds for the following:

In 2010, Music for Relief launched Download to Donate, a compilation of unreleased songs from A-list artists including Weezer, Linkin Park, The All American Rejects, and Slash, among others, to raise funds for disaster relief.
This year, Music for Relief is giving emerging artists an opportunity to be heard by thousands on the Music for Relief album.
