Theory Of A Deadman is finally coming out with a new album! The band announced today that the new LP, entitled Savages, will be available everywhere on July 8, 2014. This is the first offering from TOADM since their 2011 chart-pounding The Truth Is.
But while we’re waiting for the album to drop, the first new single from Savages called “Drown,” can be heard in a snippet in the video below. Tyler Connolly, vocalist and guitarist of TOADM said, “‘Drown’ is about being alone, the feeling of being washed away and left to your own devices. We’ve all felt that way at some point in our lives; unable to stay afloat, we sink to the bottom which always seems easier in the end than fighting your way back to the surface.”

“Drown” was produced by longtime collaborator Howard Benson (Halestorm, My Chemical Romance), the single arrives at multi-format rock radio outlets across the country on April 22nd, the same day the track goes on sale on iTunes.
On Savages and the motivation behind the new album, Connolly commented, “We went back to where we belong on this record, back to the angst, back to the darkness. We veered off the road a bit on this one but it took us right to where we needed to be.”
