THE SEXIEST ELBOWS IN ROCK!!!

Who has the sleekest, sexiest, most sought-after elbows in rock n’ roll? That would be Jason Narducy of the indie rock band, Split Single! That’s right…Dave Grohl takes pictures with them, Margaret Cho can’t keep herself from sucking on them, and Superchunk snap phone pics of them.

It hasn’t been an easy road for Narducy, as is evidenced by the commentary of those who know him best. Being a piece of elbow-meat has it’s curses and downfalls. Seriously, this is a probably the most brilliant mockumentary we’ve seen in a long time, and especially one for a new album. Bravo!

Narducy is currently prepping for the release of Split Single’s debut, Fragmented World, due out on April 1 or April Fool Day, which is apropos.

Grohl provided a cheeky comment to Rolling Stone to help his friend promote Fragmented World: “Watching Jason was the first time I thought I could start my own band, and write my own kind of music. Jason totally set my life in this new direction. It wasn’t a Jimmy Page or Kiss poster I had – it was fuckin’ him!” Come on Dave…we know it was his elbows.

It’s a record that also features a little help from some notable names: Spoon’s Britt Daniel plays bass and provides backing vocals on the record while Superchunk’s Jon Wurster handles the drums and percussion.
