The force is with British metal band THE MORE I SEE (TMIS), who premier their first-ever music video today on Vevo. The video for “The Eye That Offends” was shot on abandoned sets from the iconic first Star Wars movie and is the lead track from their upcoming new album The Disappearing Humans, set for release October 1 via Century Media/Earache Records in North America.Â
Â
“The Eye That Offends” was filmed in the Tunisian desert in Northern Africa, on location at the childhood home of Luke Skywalker, and where we are first introduced to Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars movies. Long-since abandoned, the movie sets have been remarkably well-preserved by the arid desert heat.Â

All three tracks on the EP are taken from THE MORE I SEE’s new studio album ‘The Disappearing Humans,’ which is due to be released October 1 in North America via Century Media/Earache Records, and August 26 in Europe via Earache Records. The album was mixed by producer Scott Atkins (SYLOSIS, BEHEMOTH, SAVAGE MESSIAH) and mastered at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios with Steve Rooke (THE BEATLES).
THE MORE I SEE was formed in 2003 by original member Gizz Butt, who after founding the ’80s Punk-Metal outfit ENGLISH DOGS, spent four years as lead guitarist for THE PRODIGY. ‘The Disappearing Humans’ is the fourth TMIS studio album, and will be the first to feature guitarist James Cluer on lead vocals.
