STARSET - LIVE PICS

STARSET

Looking like they just stepped off the set of a Sci-Fi film, Starset put on a visually interesting and aurally pleasing performance with their blend of electronic samples and distorted guitar riffs. Starset is the side project of Downplay’s Dustin Bates, who manned the controls of what I believe is the coolest touch panel ever! Opening up for Gemini Syndrome at Aftershock in Merriam, KS, the quartet beamed down and rocked the venue. RockRevolt Magazine photographer, Thomas Woroniak, was able to bring back proof of this close encounter.

About Thomas Woroniak (82 Articles)
Originally from Rockford, IL, this veteran concert photographer has earned his stripes, shooting thousands of shows through the years. He’s been featured in many regional magazines and newspapers in and around Kansas City, MO, where he now resides. When he’s not at a show, Thomas is a web developer, motion graphics designer and 3D animator at some “other job” somewhere. He won’t tell us in fear that we’ll prank call him. Thomas has jumped in with both feet at RockRevolt, helping with editing of photos and teaming up with writing partner in crime, Bradford, to cover shows far and wide for RockRevoltMagazine.
