SEVENDUST ACOUSTIC TOUR BEGINS TONIGHT AT GEORGIA THEATRE!

(April 1, 2014 - Atlanta, GA) In their first acoustic trek since 2004, the ever-viable and versatile SEVENDUST begin their U.S. headlining tour this evening at the historic Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA. In one of the most highly anticipated tours of the year, fans will have the rare chance to share an intimate night with their beloved band.

Aptly entitled “An Evening With Sevendust” the Atlanta-based powerhouse band composed of Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Morgan Rose (drums/vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar/vocals), John Connolly (guitar/vocals) and Vince Hornsby (bass/vocals) will be performing songs from one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2014: TIME TRAVELERS & BONFIRES which will release on April 15.

TIME TRAVELERS & BONFIRES is a collection of six brand new songs, along with some epic SEVENDUST classics redone in an acoustic format that will blow your mind! The newly re-recorded songs include: “Black,” “Gone,” “Denial,” “Karma,” “Trust,” and “Crucified.”

And that is how it’s done, friends. Lajon Witherspoon’s vocals has always been, and remain, one of the most versatile in music. Time Travelers & Bonfires serves as the perfect showcase for his honey-sweet, pitch perfect voice. For us, it’s the equivalent of sticky, sweet honey followed with a fine single-malt scotch chaser. (We have a full review of the album forthcoming, but we couldn’t share that track without duly noting Witherspoon’s vox of wonderment.)
