A Day To Remember brought their “Just Some More Shows” tour to Birmingham, Alabama’s Legacy Arena on Sunday night.

In tow were The Used and Magnolia Park: a good contrast of emo veterans and up-and-coming acts to open up the show.

Magnolia Park’s set was remnant of what makes Pop-Punk great, even including a cover of Fall Out Boy’s “Sugar We’re Going Down.” This cover easily set the tone for the evening and the crowd was electric afterwards.

The Used knows their audience. From playing mostly the hits to a few deep cuts, the crowd was THERE FOR IT. Especially when “The Taste of Ink” hit. The Used is also known for making the crowd “boo” them and its was a fun joke that really made singer Bert McCracken cackle.

A Day To Remember solidified why they are the best touring band in the industry. Opening with “The Downfall Of Us All” straight into “All I Want” the crowd had little time to recuperate before they launched into “Paranoia” and “A Shot In The Dark,” which was a throwback to their first album “For Those Who Have Heart”

Momentarily, the show came to a halt when a crowd-surfer fell and was out for a good ten minutes. The band stopped and waited for the situation to resolve. Thankfully, the guy was ok.

The band didn’t miss a beat and they still performed the full set as scheduled.

A Day To Remember continues to show audiences why they are the real deal and that will [hopefully] not be stopping any time soon!
