NEWS: Re-Pressing of Mastodon’s Early Works on ‘Call of the Mastodon’ Vinyl Compilation
Mastodon is re-releasing their Call of the Mastodon collection on limited edition vinyl on February the 18th in North America, 17th in UK/World, and the 14th in Germany/Benelux/Finland, and we are eagerly awaiting to get our hands on it! Pressed for the first time in over eight years, this compilation has EVERYTHING that a Mastodon fan could rdream of, from their earliest material (including demo material), 2001′s Slick Leg 7″, and 2001′s Lifesblood EP, and MORE! If you call yourself a connoisour of metal, then Call of the Mastodon is a MUST HAVE piece in your collection.
The vinyl repress follows last year’s represses of the seminal Mastodon debut Remission and their now legendary sophomore LP Leviathan. It also includes a digital download of the full album and is being pressed on three color variations including red, clear with gold and blue splatter, and blue and gold merge.
