NEWS: LONGREEF ADD ADDITIONAL TOUR DATES TO ALREADY PACKED TOUR SCHEDULE
Aussie rock band LONGREEF (Josh Barker, Tristan Davies, Nick Miller, Jim Wark) are back on the road touring the U.S. and have added additional dates to their already packed touring schedule for 2013. The band will remain on the road through the spring and summer in support of their latest EP/Live DVD Dirty Motel. They just added a show with the legendary Sevendust on May 1 and have been confirmed to perform, once again, at the Verizon American Music Festival in August. All tour dates are listed below.
Dirty Motel has seen some great coverage since it’s’ release. Radio fell in love with the first single, the EP’s title track. “Dirty Motel” saw plays across the country including adds in Spokane, Chicago, Charleston, Lubbock, Biloxi (where it went to #4!), Ocean City, Baltimore, DC and on Sirius and Music Choice. On March 5, the band officially released their second single, “She Likes The Ladies.” The song has been a fan favorite at all their gigs and radio seems to agree. Early adds have already been coming in across the States including KHTQ (Spokane), WCPR (Biloxi), WIIL (Chicago), KFMX (Lubbock), KAZY (Cheyenne), Sirius/XM Octane and more.
LONGREEF has been featured in a variety of outlets including Loudwire, Toledo Free Press, Arkansas Democrat Gazette, Rock Music Report, Huffington Post, Bloody Disgusting, Artist Direct, Hard Rock Haven and more. They played over 200 shows in 2012 and performed with Puddle of Mudd, Blue Oyster Cult, Serj Tankian and more. The band also made stops along the tour routes in 2012 to perform on a few morning shows and to visit the folks at Fearless Radio in Chicago. LONGREEF performed “Want Me Back” which Artist Direct calls a “radio-friendly, mid-tempo jam that we predict you play over and over again,” on the national morning show Daytime TV while in Tampa. They also stopped by Your Carolina TV, Scene on 7 and Fox 10 TV.
LONGREEF came to the States in 2010 to write and record their self-titled debut EP that was released in 2011. The band found a home in Florida and began touring relentlessly in support of their debut. For 12 months they stayed on the road and played more than 150 shows across 11 states and 30 cities. The band has headlined shows and has also shared the stage with some big names including Bush, 30 Seconds to Mars, Stone Temple Pilots, Seether, Taproot, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and more. The first single off their self-titled debut – “Lonely” – reached 33 on Billboard’s Top 40 R&R Indicator charts.
