NEW DEAD DAISIES SHORT FILM IS A MATTER OF LIFE & DEATH

DEAD-DAISIES-ITUNESThe Dead Daisies have announced their arrival onto the International rock circuit with the release of a brand new interactive short film to accompany their heavy hitting debut single “Lock ‘N’ Load” featuring Slash.

Jon Stevens’ trademark vocals are plastered powerfully atop signature guitar riffs from Slash, however that’s as far as the familiarity goes. The Lock ‘N’ Load film tells a wrenching post-apocalyptic story using a concept that makes clever use of the interactive capabilities of the YouTube platform. A split ending to the film allows the viewer to dictate the fate of the story’s warrior & protagonist in a style reminiscent of the once popular ‘choose your own ending’ novels. The most popular ending will also be used in the Official TV release of the video, making Lock ‘N’ Load a truly interactive experience for fans.

The lead role was played by 15 year old up & coming actor from Melbourne, Australia, Rory Trobbiani, who said he was rapt to be a part of a music project featuring one of his favorite guitarists, Slash. An avid skater and musician, Trobbiani has also been featured in shoots for top fashion labels and photographic art projects around the country.

About Johnny Price (592 Articles)
Johnny P’s picture should truly be in the dictionary next to “music lover” as he seriously personifies the very essence of the word. He lives, sleeps, eats & breathes music. When he’s not at shows conducting interviews, he’s writing out his experiences for all of you in his wonderful, down-home, “don’t need a damn thesaurus to read it” storytelling way. He is our Knight in Metal/Rock Armour, our tireless attendee of every show, and most importantly – a champion and friend to musicians at every level (he treats everyone like a rockstar!). If you ever get the chance to meet him, you’ll know by his big smile and humble southern boy charm that he is about as real and nice as they come.
