LIVE PICS: THE SHELTERS

The Shelters play a heady and potent mix of alternative rock tinged with the dark tones of old time blues. Their sound is a writhing, brooding collection of spiraling guitar, pounding drums and wailing vocals on the part of lead singer Chase Simpson. The band, based locally in Los Angeles, kept the crowd at the Teragram Ballroom bobbing and swinging and wishing for more with a set list full of original songs, including a selection of hits from their newest EP The Shelters (released in October 2015).
