“In dark shadows, lurk strange things, no one knows what the night brings” sings front man Wednesday 13 as he swings his ax over the crowd at the world famous Whisky a Go Go. One of the most recognizable rock gods of horror, Mr. Poole has created a theatrical extravaganza that unites intense, passionate music with gore and dark imagery to make even the shyest of horror fans step up to the front.
On the Lonesome Road to Hell Tour, the final stop was home base of Los Angeles, and the massive crowd exposed the city’s true feelings towards this post-Murderdolls act. Close to striking midnight brought the band mates forth to the stage, jumping right into an explosive performance. As is known for this musical endeavor, each song featured individualized costuming, props, and performance- almost like a music video being envisioned live. The audience was absolutely eating up every decapitated head, devilish mask, and prop weapon!
A special treat to horror fans featured the band performing their Texas Chainsaw Massacre inspired song along with actors from the film, Bill Moseley and scream queen Caroline Williams portraying their characters once more. The fan-girling from the audience was imminent! A very fun and wild song, perfectly wedged into the set.
Our photographer Anabel DFlux was there to show off some of the great times that were had at this show!
