Check out Joe Perry’s latest adventure as AEROSMITH gear up for their “LET ROCK RULE” tour this summer.
Perry and a local graffiti artist named RISK tagged up a production studio in downtown Los Angeles early Thursday morning (4/3/2014) with the band’s logo in a guerilla marketing campaign to promote Aerosmith’s upcoming tour along with SLASH Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators Yes, you read that right – Aerosmith and SLASH!
Unfortunately it was without the owner’s consent. Luckily for Perry, the owner says he’s a big Aerosmith fan so he’s not pressing charges. But, Perry’s adventure caused him a major pain in the ass, as a photo shoot was planned for the next morning against the wall.
So, unfortunately the wall had to be pained over immediately, which in our book should be against the law! (see pics below) Law enforcement sources disagree with our assessment and told TMZ that if Perry is caught in the act — marketing or not — he will be arrested for vandalism.
Details about the tour–with SLASH Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators–will be announced next week in Los Angeles. Stay tuned!
