INTERVIEW: SEAN CLARK

In honor of the Halloween season, RockRevoltâ„¢ is pushing a series of mini-interviews inspired by fans of horror. First up, Sean Clark. He has already become a celebrity in certain circles, having been influential in the world of horror, wearing various hats, and simply setting the pace for where the genre of horror is going. He has written and stars in a reality television series by the name of Hallowed Grounds, which visits the sites of various cult and legendary horror films as they stand today. He also co-wrote the film The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond, which features a cast of seasoned horror actors, and a plot that reminisces on traditional horror themes, but with a modern feel. Beyond all that, Sean is the owner/operator of “Convention All-Stars”, which is the catalyst in facilitating celebrities to the appropriate convention. He does it, and he does it well. If you have yet to meet Sean Clark, you are doing yourself a disservice. He is definitely a formidable force in the world of all things horror.
  • Sarah/RockRevolt: What location would be your dream come true for Horror’s Hallowed Grounds, and why?

Sean: I’d like to spend the night in the real Amityville Horror’s house.

Sarah/RockRevolt: Who was your favorite actor in your Horror’s Hallowed Grounds?

Sean: That is Robert Rusler, coming in a close 2nd behind ME!

Sarah/RockRevolt: How long does each episode take to make?

Sean: Sometimes it takes one day and sometimes two weeks. It just depends on the locations

Sarah/RockRevolt: How did “Convention All Stars” come to be? Was it your dream to be the owner operator of such a business, or did you just kind of fall into it?

Sean: “Convention All Stars” is a name I came up with just to have something to put on a business card to pass out to potential clients and promoters. It took on a life of its own from then on out.

Sarah/RockRevolt: Tell us about the feeling of working alongside huge celebrities (Norman Reedus) at conventions all over the world, and more specifically, how do you handle the swarms of crazy fan girls?

Sean: Working with Norman Reedus is great because we have become good friends and have a blast hanging out. As for handling the swarms of fan girls, we just soldier on.
