Who are you and what is your role in the band?

My name is Zeb, and I am the lead singer in the band.

How did the band get started?

Danny (Guitarist/vocals), Casey (Lead Guitar/Vocals) and I met at Dana College in Blair, NE. We started just jamming in dorm rooms, and when it got too loud for there we decided to officially start a band.

Who are your influences, and how do they play a role in your sound?

Our influences cover a huge range from AFI to Slipknot to Metallica to Blink 182. I think it gives our sound that variation.

What has been your most meaningful experience being in this band so far?

Honestly, it’s just getting to tour the country with guys I consider my brothers. We’ve been through so much over the years from being stranded on the side of the road to driving 16 hours to play a show and being shoved into one van with 16 guys to get to the next show. It’s awesome to look back and think what we have been through and where we are now.

Favorite memory from a show you’ve played or a place you’ve traveled?

For me it was playing 89.7’s Rockfest at Westfair Ampitheater in Council Bluffs, IA. Growing up, I would go out there and see so many awesome bands. So, to stand on that stage that I had seen so many bands play on and look out at a sold out 15,000 person festival was amazing!

What do you hope to accomplish with your music?

Its always great when people reach out to us and tell us that a certain song has helped them through something they went through. To me that’s what it’s all about. Also we write a lot of these songs because it is things that we went through and has helped us get through those issues. It’s nice to know we aren’t the only crazy ones :).

Something about you that no one knows?

I was once the Tinman in the Wizard of Oz musical back in high school.

What is next for the band?

We actually just took some time off of the road to get ready for this release, and now that it’s starting to get out there we can’t wait to get back on the road!!
