Who are you and what is your role in the band?
I’m the Dj. I scratch sounds and samples in our songs.
I am Duke Sims: Singer, Guitar, Vision Ambassador.
How did the band get started?
DJAP: In 2008 I was playing in bands with the twins. They started a new project with Duke. I heard their songs and asked to join the group.
DS: We met at a recording/rehearsal/vocal class studio in Hells Kitchen, NYC.
Who are your influences and how do they play a role in your sound?
DJAP: Scratch Piklz and Xecutioners. I came up as a battle Dj so the technical abilities of the Piklz with the aggressive presence of the Xmen have always motivated me to become better.
DS: Metal, Rock, Hard Rock, All music I’ve ever heard. Dance music. Pop Music. Hip Hop. Classical Music. Musical Notes. Your influencing me right now. All the moments of my life create my export of artistic vibrations.
What has been your most meaningful experience being in this band so far?
DJAP: Traveling around the country and performing and djing for so many different types of people has been an amazing experience. As well as being a priceless opportunity to develop my abilities as a Dj and performer.
DS: The journey itself has been the most meaningful. Theres been great experiences and more great experiences to come. It’s all a great blessings to be a part of.
Favorite memory from a show you’ve played or a place you’ve travelled?
DJAP: Opening for Rise Against at Summerfest. I think there was like 5 thousand people.
DS: Opening for Tom Morello was dope. Rocking on Randall’s Island was dope. Playing the Roxy was dope. So many dope things happen all the time. Its great.
What do you hope to accomplish with your music?
DJAP: Bring positivity to world thru music. Whether its djing in the clubs or performing with the band, I’m always trying to touch people’s lives with music. It is a universal language.
DS: Reach people. Sustain being an artist and a human being on earth. To continue to be creative. And enjoy life and have a good earthly experience.
Something about you that no one knows?
DJAP: I enjoy bass fishing.
DS: My favorite show is Quantum Leap. All time.
What is next for the band?
DJAP: Release new music, videos, and keep rocking shows.
DS: Were gearing up to release our new album “Chi”. Its awesome!!!

DJAP: More love less hate.
DS: Stay positive. Keep your head up. Don’t eat too much sugar. Its hard. Move with compassion and love. Keep up the good vibes. G Life!!! BK ALL DAY!!!
