There are some bands out there with the right amount of grit and determination to move mountains. Rearview Ghost is one of these bands. With more obstacles thrown in their path than a regular human being could ever withstand, Rearview Ghost has seen more than their fair share of adversity. From surgeries, to tornadoes relocating their rehearsal studios and destroying their instruments, to an intern at their studio deleting ALL of their files. In the face of all these hurdles, most band’s would have thrown in the towel. Not Rearview Ghost! Thank goodness for that, because now they are here and on their way!

After all of their trials and tribulations, they caught the eye of producer, Michael Wagener (Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Skid Row, Motley Crue, etc.) who chose them to be the recording band for his workshop. After a week of class, they produced their single, “Devil’s Backbone”:

Their bio on Reverbnation states “Rearview Ghost cranks it up for an edgy “balls-out” hard rock sound yet they have the unusual ability to shift and evoke the sensitivity of their bluesy side from days gone by…” This is spot on! After sampling a little of what Rearview Ghost has to offer, from vocals to just some good ol’ feel-good southern-flavored rock n’ roll, you can’t deny that they’ve got what it takes! They are definitely a band to keep your eyes and ears open for. It’s a no brainer for RockRevolt Magazine to nominate them as this week’s Indie Band of the Week!
