Who are you and what is your role in the band?
I’m the singer and I have the best band ever!! My solo album just released the 16th of October!!
How did you start?
I started out as a freelance singer in my early 20s and have been working as one ever since.
Who are your influences and how have they shaped your sound?
My influences come from the 70s and 80s rock music such as Heart, White Snake and other bands at that time. Melodic Hard-Rock is what I love the most.
Favorite city/venue to play so far in the U.S?
I loved to play at Irving Plaza NYC and LA was a blast as well, awesome crowd!!
Favorite song of yours you’ve written? To play live?
To play live? “World Has Gone Mad” seems to be one that’s appreciated. And “Never Let You Down” is also one of those that people are digging!
What is a song (by anyone) that you wished you could have written?
“Alone” by Heart. I was in a tribute band once and sang all the songs of Heart. It is one of the songs that has always has been special to me.
What have be the most meaningful moments or stories from being a recording artist so far?
The moment I was asked to do a solo album after all the years of hard work. I have been working with lots of different music styles during the years to be able to have singing as my profession. I’ve been writing songs for my solo album for many years and when I finally got the question to do my own thing I almost didn’t believe it. So yes, finally I’m doing what I’ve always dreamed of.
What’s Next?
Supporting Tarja Turrunen in Argentina at a venue that holds about 7,000 in the audience on November 14th. That’s going to be really interesting!
Anything else you want to add?
Hopefully my album will be enough appreciated to bring us back on tour in the U.S. and we also look forward to meet our new fans.
