ICONOCAUST is Rock Revolt™ Magazine’s “Indie Band of the Week” because they are masters of brutal metal – spreading their own special brand of face-melting madness to the masses in relentless fashion with great success. This four piece band from Denver, CO has been DYI’ing it for a few years now, releasing four albums on their own and are currently working on a fifth effort; all while managing to travel the world touring. They are dominators of social media and are blatant, shameless, self-promoters of their music/gigs…and it’s working.
The boys of ICONOCAUST, Galen Stevenson (guitar/vox), Brian Davis (lead guitar), Jason White (bass/backup vox) and Josh Bowen (drums) literally spend more time on the road than off. These guys are an unstoppable touring machine. There’s no bitching and whining about how “nobody comes out to see us” in the same four venues in a 50 mile radius year after year. They get their asses out on the road which has taken them around the world a few times, and earned them a huge fanbase in the United States, Europe and South America. In other words, they are a WORKING band that deserves everything they’ve earned thus far.
They’ve been on the bill with the likes of Slipknot, Slayer, Motorhead, Anthrax, Static X, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, White Chapel, Snot, Times of Grace, Straight Line Stitch, Kittie, Arsis, Abysmal Dawn, Dirge Within, War of Ages and the Genitorturers just to name a few.
