Who are you and what is your role in the band?
Hi there, I’m Dani and I am the lead vocalist/keyboardist/social-media-mind/gum-chewer.
We began as just a demo project for Evan (our lead guitarist) and a producer brought me in to sing over it. It worked well so we decided that we would make it a permanent thing.
We all have different influences, which we like to think gives us a unique perspective and sound. We are talking everything from hardcore to metal to indie-acoustic to pop.
It’s hard to pick one, but recently we had the opportunity to travel to South Carolina and work with Eric Bass of Shinedown on our newest EP. These were songs that we all worked together on, and the experience of work-shopping the songs we wrote and pouring our blood sweat and tears into the recording process was something we will never forget. Not to mention that the music turned out better than we could have hoped.
Nearly every time the van or bus breaks down there is a story. Driving through the mountains in North Carolina, having to stop at a roadside casino in Iowa, missing a flight connection in Dallas while I was still messed up on Xanax from the flight…there are always shenanigans related to travel. We hope sometime in the near future that we can just teleport to shows.
I’ll speak for myself here, but I hope that our music gets into as many peoples ears as possible. It’s something we are extremely proud of and something we work extremely hard on. The words that I write, I believe, can be inspirational and motivating. I really hope that our music can make someone smile, give someone confidence, or help let someone’s anger out.
We hope for a Taco Bell endorsement.
Please don’t make me add. I hate math
