INDIE BAND OF THE WEEK: N.a.s.H.

From the studio to the stage, Rockland County New York’s own, N.a.s.H, never fails to kick your ass. How it is possible for such a big sound to be coming from only three people I don’t even know. Every moment of the music is raw – it’s real, and it’s personal. Brothers James, Joe, and Bryan Nash formed N.a.s.H in 2001, and have kept the music strong to this day.

Dedicated toward keeping it alive, the brothers live, eat, and breathe Rock N’ Roll. Listening to any one of the songs from the band’s most recent release Regain the High Ground, will leave a lasting impression, carved uniquely by every single member of the band. Frontman Bryan Nash explores every crevice of his voice to deliver a wide range of emotion perfectly balanced with the sweet melody and chaos that is his guitar playing. They say the bass in Guns N’ Roses’  “Sweet Child O’ Mine” is so melodic that you can practically sing it; and that is exactly what bassist Joe Nash captures on the album, along with a groovy soul-funk inspired bass like something right out of Seinfeld. Drummer James Nash perfectly completes this trio of terror with a massive drum sound, sonically filling the landscape with every inch of drum-shredding pure awesomeness.

Forged in each of their own ways by the struggles and blessings in life, Joe, Bryan, and James have each found a strong passion and love for music. While the music means everything to them, it means the world to their fans; and delivering more is exactly what this band intends to do. Sharing their music to fans everywhere is the greatest gift, and they have no plans of stopping. Through years of dedication, N.a.s.H has proven themselves to the world. Their hard work, dedication, and passion have created the foundation for a band who will soon take over the world, righteously earning them the title of RockRevolt Magazine’s Indie Band of the Week.
