A Wild Evening With Halestorm presented by Jagermeister

Grammy Award-winning hard rockers Halestorm brought an intimate show to Kansas City on a beautiful Monday night in support of their latest album “Into The Wild Life”.
Lzzy walked out to her keyboard in her black studded heels to a cheering crowd and started off the evening with an acoustic rendition of “Beautiful With You”. The acoustic set continued with “Sweet Love” that was co-written with Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and rolled into “Better Sorry Than Safe”, “I Get Off”, “Freak Like Me” and a crowd favorite “Mz. Hyde”. With the wrap of the acoustic set there was a brief intermission leading up to the plugged in set.
The crowd was instantly energized and engaged at the start of the electric set with a song they were well familiar with, “Love Bites (So Do I)”, the lead track from the group’s second album, “The Strange Case Of…” Lzzy jumped right into “Apocalyptic”, a crowd favored track from their latest album “Into The Wild Life”. Of the tracks the band played, 13 came from that album including “I Am The Fire”, “Amen” and “I Like It Heavy”.
The Pennsylvania rockers closed out the evening with a set of old-school favorites “Here’s To Us” and “I Miss The Misery”. Prior to the start of the “A Wild Evening With Halestorm” tour Lzzy declared “Here’s what you’re gonna get: a full evening with only Halestorm, in the spirit of our latest record, doing whatever the #%@! we want!”. I can say with confidence that Kansas City loved every minute of Halestorm doing whatever the #%@! they wanted!
George Mack – Frontman for Plush Revolver and For The Broken said, “The show was off the charts awesome! Two + hours of lizzy hale can’t go wrong. The acoustic opener was fun and really showcased her amazing vocal style. The rest of the set she was smokin’ in every way.”
