CONCERT PHOTOS: MOTIONLESS IN WHITE

A stage illuminated by candle light, with a soft symphony that quickly turned brutal, metal rock stars Motionless in White stole the Hollywood night away at the Roxy on Sunset on March 11th! Part of their “Beyond the Barricade Tour”, the band took pride in (literally) removing the boundary between performer and audience member. Concert goers were crowd surfing to the stage, singing along, interacting with the band members, and creating an all-around unique experience in which music physically perpetrated into the lives of those in attendance. With special guest stars Michael Vampire (singing the vocals in A.M.E.R.I.C.A, and definitely riling up that crowd), Tim Skold (singing vocals for Final Dictvm, a never-before-played song), and Ash Costello (singing the vocals in Contemptress, a fan favorite) Hollywood was definitely spoiling Motionless in White fans that night! Photographer and journalist Anabel DFlux caught as much of the action as she could- for all of RockRevolt to enjoy!

Anabel Dflux is a California native who prefers to spend her evenings at concerts with metalheads and Hollywood transplants, with her trusty camera in hand. In 2009 she started her own photography business on a whim and a wish, and has since gone on to photograph and document hundreds of bands on the infamous Los Angeles streets. Having been an animal event photographer before getting roped into the music world, Anabel partners her past experience of photographing action to capturing excitable musicians on camera. The intense passion of the crowd and stage presence of the musicians makes photographing concerts one of the most amazing experiences in the world. Her goal has always been to capture the atmosphere through the lens; she wants people to feel that energy!
