Like most people, I like exclusive shit, which is why when I hear the word in front of “concert,” I get excited. Coincidentally, Citi® is sponsoring an event available only to Citi cardmembers and it’s mouthwatering.
On June 2 at Webster Hall in New York City, the legendary rock band Soundgarden will perform the entirety of their classic album Superunknown. Headed by whiskey-voiced vocalist Chris Cornell, they’re a fine reminder of early 90s West Coast grunge. What’s the occasion? Just a little celebration of the 20th anniversary of Superunknown, their fourth and most significant record.
It’s also surprisingly only the second time ever they have performed the album from beginning to end. I suddenly yearn for a high-cost of living and a Citi card. Excuse me while I pack some bags.
Tickets are available beginning May 21, though only to those who have a Citi credit or debit card. Visit the Citi website for more information about purchasing tickets. The album will also be re-released in a reissue package on June 3, now available for pre-order.
