Bud Light River City Rockfest 2016 – Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-nominated rock band Disturbed and German rock legend Scorpions co-headlined the fourth annual Bud Light River City Rockfest on Sunday, May 29 at the AT&T Center, San Antonio on Memorial Day weekend . This well run and heavily fan populated outdoor rock festival featured more than 20 bands live on three stages including Avatar, Red Sun Rising, Lynwood King and the Revival (not shown), Hellzapoppin the popular stunt show extravaganza that included a plethora of artists, including a fire breather, a sword swallower, and an acrobat, (not shown),Pop Evil, Devil Driver, Mud River (not shown), Hellyeah, Texas Hippie Coalition, Donella Drive(not shown), Sixx AM, The Sword, The Heroine(not shown), Bullet for My Valentine (not shown), Hatebreed, Megadeth, P.O.D, and Wild Throne (not shown)/ Developed by Spurs Sports & Entertainment in partnership with AEG Live, the Bud Light River City Rockfest is an annual celebration of rock music, the largest festival of its kind in South Texas and part of the 2016 Worlds Loudest Month festival series. From beginning to end of the day, this was a well run,organized festival with few hitches, cutting edge bands and premium headliners. The thousands of fans and folks of San Antonio from all walks of life, all ages and dressed to rock will always be what makes this festival quite a jewel in the summer heat of Texas.
