It’s interesting listening to this 22-minute interview with Ace Frehley during an appearance on last night’s edition of “Eddie Trunk Rocks” radio show on New York’s Q104.3 FM. Although the interview was reported (and transcribed almost verbatim) on Blabbermouth, it’s a whole different ballgame to hear Ace’s voice talking about this, and a lot of what he says is in direct conflict of the statement issued overnight by KISS:

Our favorite quote? When asked why he (Ace) thought Simmons and Stanley didn’t want to play with them (Frehley and Criss):
“I don’t know and at this point I really don’t give a shit. If you don’t want to do something after 40 years for the fans that have been supporting you and something that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame also wanted, then I just don’t understand it. But then again…those guys do a lot of stuff I don’t understand. “
Frehley says he did the interview to ensure that fans didn’t buy tickets expecting to see a full-reunion as was originally expected.
Eddie Trunk said that he spoke last evening via phone with RARHOF Director/Producer, Joel Gallon, who confirmed that it was the HOF’s wish that all four original members would play together but they won’t tell KISS that they cannot play.
What do you think? Who’s telling the truth?
