The band’s taken off really well the past couple years. It started
out with the first album, Before the Fire. Jack Rivera from
Huffington Post said you guys were the new rock band to watch.
Your last album was declared the number 1 album of 2014 by

Hmm. I think we all hoped that we would. I think every-
body thought, if we just kept plugging away, it was just a
matter of time. I think people really enjoy our live shows,
and they seem to like our records, so, yeah, I don’t think
there was any reason to doubt it. But, I think we were just
out there doing what we do. Fortunately, people like it, and
latched onto it.
What was that first moment when you realized, “This is it. You guys have toured with a lot of the classics, like
We hit the big time”? Aerosmith and Deep Purple; do you think you have that
same sort of sound?
Boy. I don’t know. There’s little tiny moments where
you look back, and think, “How did we get here?” I We’re told that we do, quite often. I think there are

Deep Purple. Those guys are unbelievable.
Like you said, there’s not much real rock and roll anymore,
and you sound completely unique, but, you have that real
rock sound. How did you get hooked up with Black Sabbath?
We were performing at the Classic Rock Awards in Los
Angeles last year. I can’t remember exactly when it was, but,
Ozzy and Sharon were in the audience, and saw us perform
a couple of songs, and, afterwards, just approached us,
and actually asked us about doing this tour, which hadn’t
been announced yet. Things got into the works. They got
in touch with our management, and they made us an offer
to come out with them, and it’s a dream come true. We’re
all really excited to come out with these guys. It really just
came from them seeing us play. I don’t think they had heard
of us, prior to that.
