Memphis, TN 1996, motivated by his pastor, vocalist/bass player John Cooper formed
Skillet. Twenty years later, millions of records sold and multiple Grammy nominations
I would say John’s pastor provided some good advice. With the release of their 10th
studio album Unleashed on August 5th and the powerful single “Feel Invincible”, Seth
Morrison, lead guitar, Jen Ledger, drums and John’s wife Korey on rhythm guitar and
keyboards show no signs of slowing down. RockRevolt had the opportunity to talk with
John about the making of Unleashed, Skillet’s relentless touring schedule, his thoughts
on one of the Presidential campaigns using his music and the vocalist fantasy project.
