Johnathan Mooney and Christian Granquist, well known in the alternative music scene, have come together to make magic happen – combining their exquisite talent, a new genre has been born, and from the deep down levels of their psyche, we find the multi-tectural layers that are not there upon first glance.

alternative music scene. Composer Johnathan Mooney originally played keyboard for New York’s popular band, “The New Creatures,” and is now living in Orange County, California. Christian Granquist is well known in the Swedish Post-Punk scene having played with the members of the pop trio Day Behavior and is the keyboardist for the Stockholm electronic band “The Atom”
Johnathan|Christian cite darkwave artistic influences including such performers as Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Mission UK and the Cure. Intuitively, their own music typifies the traditional dark wave sound, adding in soaring, epic refrains and dramatic fugues that create a style all their own.
