RELEASED OCTOBER 7, 2016 VIA NAPALM RECORDS
Alter Bridge released their fifth album The Last Hero in October producing their second top 10 album. Powered by the record’s first single, “Show Me A Leader” which has over 1 million YouTube views. Myles Kennedy (vocals, guitar), Mark Tremonti (guitar, vocals), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums) set out to create a piece centered around heroism. Following up the critically acclaimed Fortress was no easy task but with Michael “Elvis” Baskette back at the helm they produced an album worthy of the Alter Bridge insignia. As Tremonti states “every time we do a record, my only goal is for people to simply think it’s better than the previous one”, with The Last Hero the quartet definitely pushed the boundaries of that goal.
Fresh off of their highly successful European tour, which saw Alter Bridge playing arenas across the continent and in front of their largest crowds to date, they look to continue that momentum in North America. Starting off in Mobile, AL on January 21st the 20-plus date trek will see them zigzag across North America with a final stop in Seattle. This is sure to be one of 2017’s top tours!
