SEETHER PREMIERE NEW TRACK “STOKE THE FIRE” VIA REVOLVER
NEW ALBUM POISON THE PARISH OUT MAY 12
MULTI-PLATINUM HARD ROCK BAND SET TO EMBARK ON WORLD TOUR THIS SPRING
SEETHER (Shaun Morgan — vocals/guitar, Dale Stewart — bass/vocals, and John Humphrey — drums) have shared “Stoke the Fire,” the second track from their highly anticipated new album Poison the Parish, via Revolver. Listen here.
The track is now available as an instant download for fans that pre-order the full album; find it here. Previewing the new album, Revolver stated, “In a time when it’s easy to tune out all the monotonous rock, Seether’s Poison the Parish proves the South African outfit still grooves, crushes and rocks harder than all.” Alternative Press said Poison the Parish is “a return to the darker and heavier style of music that Seether built their name upon.”
“Stoke the Fire” follows the new album’s epic lead single and video, “Let You Down,” which was released in February and is already Top 10 at both Mainstream and Active Rock radio.
Seether’s Poison the Parish, the multi-platinum selling band’s seventh full-length studio album, will arrive on May 12, 2017 via Morgan’s new label imprint Canine Riot Records. Recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, Poison the Parish marks the first album produced in its entirety by the frontman. Playing with a newfound ferocity and purpose, Seether have delivered one of the heaviest and emotionally pure efforts of the band’s illustrious career.
The band also announced the U.S. dates for the Poison the Parish World Tour, which includes headline shows and festival appearances throughout the spring and summer. Guitarist Clint Lowery of Sevendust will augment the band’s lineup throughout the upcoming trek.
Every order includes a physical copy of Poison the Parish. Ticket and VIP package information can be found here. Additionally, a portion of all tickets sold for the Poison the Parish World Tour will benefit the Rise Above Fund, a subset of Suicide Awareness Voices of Education, the largest suicide prevention organization in the country, and the band’s partner on the Rise Above Fest.
The Rise Above Fest, now in its fifth year, has expanded to two days in 2017. It will be held Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 at Darling’s Waterfront Park in Bangor, Maine. Performers include Seether, Korn, Shinedown, Stone Sour, Skillet, Halestorm, Falling in Reverse, and more.
