Pay it Forward Friday is a weekly feature which focuses on the many great bands/artists out there who give unselfishly to various charity or causes. The articles will shine a spotlight on the organizations as well as the bands; highlighting the amazing work they both do both musically and philanthropically.
Hailing from Arizona, one of the heaviest acts surprises us with not only kickassery, but generosity. The five member The Pattern Interrupt just forming back in 2012 is making their mark on the sonic landscape of metalcore. Their self-titled debut released just a year ago, and from that first sampling, you know you are HOOKED for life!

However, as Pay it Forward is intended to do, we have to give kudos to The Pattern Interrupt for giving so unselfishly to a charity of their choice! Using the incredibly useful Reverbnation, they have selected SEVERAL singles from which half of the purchase goes to support a charity by the name of Keep a Child Alive.
Keep a Child Alive is an organization that provide medical care and education, nutritious food, to support for children and families living with and affected by HIV in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, and India. Not only do they provide this, but they use their resources and advocacy to be able to push forward with their mission.
