The lucky people of Atlanta have the unique opportunity to celebrate the release of  Mastodon‘s  brand new studio album, Once More ‘Round The Sun,  at a very special listening party tonight (June 23), the night prior to its release (Reprise Records)
The event will be held at the Jim Cherry Memorial Planetarium in the Fernback Science Center in the band’s hometown of Atlanta, located at 156 Heaton Park Drive, Atlanta, GA 30307. Â
This special event requires a laminate pass for entry. To get a laminate, you will need to pre-order the upcoming album on CD and/or vinyl from  Criminal Records  (either in person at the store or online at the above CR Link).
As of 1:30 p.m. there were still several physical copies left – so get down to Criminal (or hop online), get a copy of Once More ‘Round The Sun and get out to Fernbank Science Center Planetarium!  Doors open at 7:30 pm.
The playback will feature a great visual show starting at 8 pm. All attendees will receive a pre-autographed CD booklet and a chance to meet the band.Â
Once More ‘Round The Sun will be available on CD, standard vinyl and a limited edition Deluxe Package pressed on two 180g black vinyl discs housed in a quadruple gatefold vinyl jacket featuring artwork by Skinner. The special package will also contain four exclusive lithographs derived from the album artwork plus the entire album on CD. Pre-order it here. Â
